How to apply as a couple?

Fill in the application form and indicate you are applying as a couple. Add contact information and skills for both partners.

Receive an offer

We will contact you when suitable vacancies are available for both. We will discuss salaries, working conditions and accommodation options.

Arrange documents

We will help with necessary document preparation - employment contracts, registration, travel arrangements.

FAQ about work for couples

Do couples get shared accommodation?

Yes, a couple usually gets a private room or a small flat arranged for them. The rent covers both of you - budget €455-€500 a month, deducted from pay. Cheaper than two separate rooms.

Do both need to work in the same industry?

Not necessarily. If both have different skills, we can find work in different industries in the same region. For example, man in construction, woman in fish factory. The key is both being in the same city.

How much can a couple earn together?

Each of you earns your own rate: from 228.65 NOK/h in a fish plant, 270–300 NOK/h for experienced trades in construction. The month is both rates times the hours worked. The couple's edge is one rent instead of two.

Should both apply at the same time?

Yes, we definitely recommend applying together and indicating in the form that you are a couple. This helps us organize shared accommodation and work schedules in the same location. You can fill one application and provide both contact details.

Are there language requirements?

Norwegian is not required. Basic English for communication with the employer is sufficient. Many industries have other Latvians working who can help initially.

How does the selection process work for couples?

We try to find job offers where both partners can work in the same location. Process: fill in the application, indicate you are a couple, and we will contact you with suitable offers.
