Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about working in Norway
How much can I earn working in Norway?
Salaries in Norway range from €3000 to €5500 net per month depending on industry. Construction and driving offer highest salaries, fish factories and seasonal work lower but still significantly higher than in Latvia.
Do I need to know Norwegian?
No, Norwegian is not required for most jobs. Basic English is sufficient. In many industries (construction, fish factories, warehouses) even English is not necessary.
What documents do I need?
EU citizens only need a valid ID card or passport. In Norway you will need to get a D-number (personal identification number) and tax card. T&A Nordic helps with all documentation.
Does T&A Nordic provide accommodation?
Yes, we help with accommodation. In many cases housing is included, otherwise we help find housing at a reasonable price.
How long does the process take from application to work?
On average 2-4 weeks. This includes application review, interview, contract preparation and travel organization.
