Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your data when you apply for work through T&A Nordic: what is collected, why, who sees it, how long it is kept, and how you can see, fix or delete it.
1. Who is responsible
SIA BEHIND, registration no. 40203718836, Brīvības iela 432/2, 57, Rīga, LV-1024, Latvia. SIA BEHIND runs T&A Nordic and the HireWave platform that employers use, and decides how your data is used.
Questions about your data: hello@darbs-norvegija.lv
2. What is collected
When you apply:
- Name, email, phone number, age and nationality
- Work experience, skills, language levels and the industries you want to work in
- Photos of your work, your CV, and an intro video if you add one
- Your answers to questions about the job
- The time you gave your consent
Later, only if you choose to send them:
- Work references: the name, relationship and contact details of the people you name
- Reference letters and a criminal record certificate, when an employer asks for them
- A photo of your ID card or passport, to check that you are an EU citizen
- An AI interview: your voice and video while it runs, the written transcript, and a short summary
When you send a questionnaire or form, or agree to an AI interview, your IP address and browser are saved with it.
3. Why it is used
- To find you work in Norway and match you with employers
- To contact you about jobs, offers and your application
- To check that you can work in Norway
- To read your CV with AI: to hide your contact details before employers see it, translate it, and give your profile a score
4. Legal basis
- Your consent on the application form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), for processing your application and sharing it with employers
- Your consent on the interview start screen, for AI interviews
- Your consent in the cookie banner, for counting your visits
- Your choice to upload it, for your ID document
- A legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)), for answering your data requests
You can take back your consent at any time. This stops future use; it does not undo what happened before.
5. Who sees your data
Employers in Norway that use HireWave:
- Before anything is approved, they see a profile without your contact details: first name, age, nationality, skills and language levels.
- When T&A Nordic approves it, or when you say yes to a job offer, that employer also sees your full name, email, phone number and CV.
- Reference letters and a criminal record certificate go only to the employer that asked for them.
- Your ID document is never shared. Only T&A Nordic can open it.
Companies that run parts of the service for T&A Nordic:
- Supabase: database and file storage
- Vercel: runs the website
- inbox.eu: sends email
- Sendberry: sends text messages
- Telegram: short alerts to T&A Nordic with your first name only
- Google (Gemini): reads CVs and documents, translates text and scores profiles
- Microsoft (OneDrive): keeps screening results sent to employers
- LiveKit, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, Anam and Render: run AI interviews
- OpenStreetMap: the map on the home page is loaded from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address
Your data is not sold.
6. Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase and opened through the services above. Some of these companies are based outside the EU. Where each one processes data, and the protection used for transfers outside the EU, is listed at hirewave.eu/data and updated as it is confirmed.
Your ID document, reference letters and criminal record certificate are kept in private storage and opened only through links that expire within minutes.
7. How long it is kept
- Your profile: while you are looking for work. Profiles with no activity for 12 months are reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.
- IP address and browser saved with questionnaires and forms: 90 days. With interview consent they are kept as proof of the consent.
- Links in emails (for offers, documents and answers): stop working after 60 days
- You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time (see section 8).
8. Your rights
- See your data and get a copy
- Fix anything that is wrong
- Delete your data
- Limit how it is used
- Get it in a file you can give to someone else
- Object to uses based on legitimate interest
- Take back your consent
To use any of these, fill in the form at hirewave.eu/data or write to hello@darbs-norvegija.lv. You get an answer within one month.
Job offer and similar emails have a “Stop these emails” link at the bottom.
9. Cookies and tracking
This website uses no advertising cookies and shares nothing with advertisers.
Visits are counted only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Then the site records which pages you open, where you came from, your browser, device type and screen size, with a random visitor code made from your browser details. It is used only to see which pages and campaigns bring applications, and deleted after 90 days.
If you click “Decline”, nothing is recorded. Your choice is saved in your browser so the banner does not come back. You can change it any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
One more cookie remembers the language you chose.
10. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
11. Complaints
If you are not happy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv) or to the data protection authority in the country where you live, for example Datatilsynet in Norway (www.datatilsynet.no) or UODO in Poland (www.uodo.gov.pl).
