Legal minimum wages in Norway

Norway has no universal national minimum wage. Instead, several industries have legally binding minimum hourly rates that cover every worker, foreign or Norwegian. The rates are set by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (Arbeidstilsynet) and have been in force since 15 June 2025.
